Using organic and fresh ingredients, our esteemed Chef oversees our wonderful team of cooks and bakers to create completely plant based savories and desserts that are unparalleled in their uniqueness taste and presentation.

Our English Farmer grows produce especially for Muir’s at his organic biodiverse Sebastopol Farm.

Muir’s signature scones and sweets are baked fresh daily and our popular finger sandwiches are made moments before being served. We offer delicious gluten free options.

Through our wholesale operations, Muir’s products can be found in many gourmet grocery stores, cafes and retail outlets.

Located in a lavishly restored historic Queen Anne Victorian, Muir’s is an extraordinary Tea Room in the English/Scottish tradition.

Inspired by legendary Scottish born conservationist and tea lover, John Muir, Muir’s combines the beauty of nature with whimsical decor, a stunning cottage garden and delicious plant based artisan food. We are a completely Plant Based Tea Room.

Enchanting Annual Themed Events and Holidays

Designed and installed by professional set designers, the elaborate decor at Muir’s is changed for each special event. Our annual themed events such as our Jane Austen Regency Tea Service, Harry Potter Extravaganza, Tea & Tarot, Secret Garden Yorkshire Tea Service, Nancy Drew, Beatrix Potter Lake District Tea Service include custom regionalized English, Scottish and Irish menus, guest appearances, entertainment and surprises. The Holiday decor at Muir’s is especially extravagant.
